The natural world is the key driving point in my artwork and my photography. My passion is animal portraiture with the goal of showing just how vibrant and wonderful wildlife can be. While birds are my favourite subject I enjoy drawing all sorts of animals from spiders to fish. I also love sharing my knowledge about techniques and materials with other artists. It’s for this reason that I started making art tutorials and discussion videos on Youtube! You can find my videos under the channel name Wild Portrait Artist.

My favourite coloured pencils are Faber Castell Polychromos, Holbein, Caran D’ache Luminance and Caran D’ache Pablo. I use a variety of different papers, but I particularly favour Fabriano Artistico Hot Pressed Watercolour Paper and Fisher 400 Sanded Paper for my pencil works.
