2. Images of Your Work
Have the image files of your artwork ready to be uploaded to the entry form.
JPG files only; resolution 300dpi, min size 1MB, max size 5MB.
All images should be marked with your first name_surname, dash, then the title of the work with underscore instead of spaces, e.g. John_Smith-View_of_Venice.
Each entry will be judged on your submitted image(s) alone and will be used for the online exhibition. It is therefore very important to represent your work as best you can. Poorly presented images, especially those that are out of focus, badly lit, pixelated or include distractions and imagery unassociated with the artwork such as reflections, frame or surroundings may be rejected.
If photographing your work, it should be unframed and upright, making sure it is not at an angle. There is plenty of advice available on the internet.
You must not use filters or edit your image using software such as Photoshop beyond the basic resizing of your image for online submission.
If you have used a reference photograph not taken by yourself, you need to enter the name of the photographer or copyright owner on the entry form in the space provided. By giving this information you are confirming that you have the express permission of the photographer or copyright owner as stated in the rules of entry.
3. Title of your Work
State the correct title of your artwork, as this information will be used as captions for the online gallery.
