Originally from West Yorkshire I am now retired and live in the beautiful North Yorkshire Dales with my husband. I am completely self-taught but have drawn and painted all my life - mostly for pure enjoyment!

Specialising in animal studies, especially dogs and horses, I also enjoy the challenge of flowers and still life.
I work predominantly with my beautiful but sadly now extinct Karisma pencils (which I managed to stockpile before they disappeared!) I also love the Faber Castell Polychromos and Caran D’Ache Luminance.

Whilst living in West Yorkshire I used to regularly exhibit with the ‘British Society of Painters’ in Ilkley where I was a prize winner.

I am now disabled due to badly done spine surgery so have only recently got back to drawing again (my spine story is on my website)

I have works in private collections in the UK, Australia, Europe and America.
