I have always lived in Huddersfield & some of my earliest memories are of using coloured pencils. After leaving school & going straight into office work, I didn't do any artwork until my 40's when I joined an adult education art class. Mainly using acrylic paint & occasionally dabbling with soft pastels & collage, I was given a set of Polychromos coloured pencils for my 60th birthday and I was hooked! My art group never got going again after Covid, but I have recently joined Huddersfield Art Society and UKCPS to continue my artistic journey.
