I am based in Balderton, Newark in Nottinghamshire.I first took up drawing several years ago when I retired with my preference always being graphite or pastel pencil. Seeking to obtain more detail and realism in my drawing over the past 2 to 3 years, I have gradually started using more coloured pencils, these are now my predominant medium. My main subjects to draw are anything to do with wildlife & nature, which works well with my passion for photography, most of my drawings are based on my own photographs.
