Hi,
I’m proud to be a new member of the UKCPS, and I hope to learn a lot from everyone’s outstanding artwork in the members’ galleries and from the forum.
I was born and grew up in the United States, but I’ve lived in Brussels, Belgium for almost thirty years.
My artistic work covers a wide variety of techniques, including watercolour and lino block printing, but my favourite medium is drawing in black and white, with pencils and/or felt-tip markers. Colour poses a lot of problems for me, but I’ve discovered coloured pencils are more comfortable than watercolours or acrylic paint.
Finally, a word of warning – be prepared to see many drawings of squirrels appearing on my gallery page, as they are one of my favourite subjects!
