Hello, my name is Jacqueline Ford and I am the owner of Pet Portraits By Jacqueline.

I have always enjoyed drawing from a young age and was very much influenced by my late grandfather who was an amateur artist mainly using paint and pastels. In fact I still have the very first painting that he did for me (a field full of horses) hanging on the wall in the study at home.

I have just completed a coloured pencil course via the London Art College (LAC) and I have now embarked on a London Art College (LAC) Pet Portrait diploma course.

I use high quality graphite pencils and Faber Castell Polychronos colour pencils for my work.

I have also, recently become a member of UKCPS (United Kingdom Colour Pencil Society).

I am based in Northampton, England and live with my partner Bill and our two much loved dogs Benson and Emily, both of whom have been adopted from the world famous Battersea Dogs and Cats Home in London.

When I am not drawing, I enjoy travelling, reading, photography, gardening and support our local rugby team - Northampton Saints.
