I have always loved to draw and enjoyed studying Art to A Level at school but once I left school to pursue a career in teaching & to raise a family, I didn't have any time for my art. It was only when I retired from teaching in 2015 that I was able to join a local art group and to slowly learn & explore a variety of mediums & techniques. In conjunction with this, I had begun to follow well known coloured pencil artists online (as my husband had bought me some decent coloured pencils & paper for my birthday) & to try some of their tutorials & workshops. I found that I really enjoyed working with coloured pencil, which is why I have concentrated mainly on this medium to improve my skills & knowledge.
