Carolynne Winchester

Hampshire based Artist with a love for nature. I am surrounded by woodland, which is full of wildlife. From this I draw my inspiration as well as nature as a whole. I have always loved Owls and they feature highly in my paintings. I had always wanted to paint in watercolour but never had the opportunity or time until just before I retired from a 25-year teaching career.

Having got to grips with watercolour I am now branching out into the world of coloured pencils and thoroughly enjoying the experience which I hope shows through in my artwork. I value my painting days and the feeling of creativity and tranquillity they provide There is a little piece of me in each.

I have also been lucky to receive several pet portrait commissions this year and hope to continue to bring joy to those wanting an artwork of their beloved family pet.
