I took up watercolours when I retired and joined a local art society. I had not done any artwork since my schooldays. I tried a variety of mediums but love to paint flowers in watercolour. I sometimes print my paintings on to cards and sell them in local flower shops.

I recently visited an international exhibition of botanical art at Lancaster (2018) and was blown away by the coloured pencil work. I was inspired to purchase a set of pencils and have a go. I was completely hooked. I have been teaching myself through books and publications. I joined the coloured pencil Society to find out where to learn more……
