Matthew Peace

My name is Matthew. I've been an artist ever since I have been able to hold a pencil, which is well over thirty years. I've tried every medium from watercolour to acrylics to oils, but I have found that coloured pencil is my favourite to use. I especially love using them to draw botanicals, which is the subject I specialise in. The ability to pick up a pencil and just work without having to wait for things to dry or mix things with water is one of the reasons I enjoy working with them. The range of colours and the improvement in quality is truly marvellous.t
