Helen studied at Canterbury College of Art for a BA Hons in Sculpture. This was followed by a post Graduate Diploma At Cyprus School of Art. Returning to Wales, She was a lecturer at Wrexham College of Art where she rekindles her childhood love of colour pencils. Upon moving to Crete she first embarked on a series of portraits of local people before becoming fascinated by the wildflowers of Crete. For the past few years Helen has concentrated on developing her skills as a botanical artist using watercolour alongside colour pencils, although colour pencils remain her preferred media.
